Spiritist Books

The principle literary resources in the study of Spiritism are the 5 books published by Allan Kardec, which comprise what is known as the codification of the Spiritist Doctrine.

Since the publication of those books in the mid 19th century, numerous complementary works have also been added to the collection of resources available to students of the Doctrine.

These complementary books are written by both incarnate and discarnate authors, and they fall under a variety of genre.

Be they scientific studies, philosophic explanations, biblical interpretations, educational narratives, recounting of personal experiences, inspiring and motivational messages and teachings, etc., all these books share in the common goal of helping us to understand our true spiritual nature and relationship with God, the universe in which we live and our role in it, and likewise, of helping us to reflect upon the meaning and purpose in life and to seek out a continuous inner transformation

Here you will find descriptions of all 5 books of the Spiritist Doctrine, as well as the complementary Spiritist books presently available in English and how to obtain them.  Our goal here is to make available as many resources in English as possible so that even more people can benefit from the enlightening, comforting, and inspirational teachings of this Doctrine of the Spirits.
